As someone that grew up in the area I can say that I have seen a lot of improvements with the addition of the walking tracks in and around the park. The mayor and town of Jena have done an excellent job of trying to keep people interested in coming to the old park for their family fun and picnics. Could the playground equipment be updated? Yes, but remember that takes tax dollars that no one wants to vote yes on so I say the recreation center is in fabulous shape as me and my 3 year old daughter enjoy it frequently!

The park was so much fun, my daughter in law,and i decided to check it out,we had heard that it was wonderful. Sunni, my granddaughter had a ball. It was very clean, and painted so colorful. We will definitely come back.
Amazing! Not to big, not to small. And in a great location. Great for visitors and residents!! My son and myself have a great time every visit. Can't wait to check out the splash pad and roller rink!!!
Clean, fun park with bathrooms near by. The splash pad needs more than one covered area for parties. There was 3 birthday parties in one day and was forced to use the small tables with small umbrellas. Everyone was sweating and too hot. Or you should have to call in advance to book for parties, that way it doesn't happen again.
Great trails for jogging, very clean and safe! Great for a family to go play or a single to take a run.
The can be a pretty place, just wish people wouldn't litter and smoke at the play areas
My grandbaby love this park! She's having her birthday party at the skating rink!!
