Amazing atmosphere combined with rich food and a commanding wine list makes this destination restaurant a must visit. I mention the atmosphere first because WOW. The grounds are beautiful and kept immaculate. The inside is no different with an upscale rustic feel that will make you want to nap after your meal by their enormous fireplace. We celebrated our 5th anniversary with Green Gables. Our meal was delicious and filling. Our hostess was lovely and courteous. Our waitress was attentive and had a great personality. We will be returning very soon, and perhaps, for every anniversary. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We had our wedding at Green Gables as a last minute venue and it was better than what my first choice would have been. They were extremely accommodating with my decorations and helped incorporate them into my wedding. They created amazing floral centerpieces using the vessels I provided. Green Gables staff ensured the day ran smoothly by decorating, conducting the rehearsal, and day of. They quickly responded to all my questions. We were able to stay, have our wedding guests stay, have our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all on site. All the guests were asking how I found this hidden gem! It is such a beautiful venue with excellent staff.
Seriously can not say enough good things about Green Gables! We recently had our wedding there and it was the most perfect day. They take care of every detail! Teresa helped plan everything and had the best ideas! Our food was delicious and everything looked absolutely beautiful. Best experience!
fantastic gem hidden in the laurel highlands. food was incredible, everyone in our party agreed. such a cool place with beautiful details around every corner. we will be back! side note: I think this business would benefit greatly from a strong social media presence. food and setting are too great to not share!
