The location was a bit remote and, depending on the medium used to plan the route, could someone's be difficult to find. In the end this turned out not to be a problem in real life. Upon arrival a small parking lot was available, though there wasn't a clear reception or place to check in. If it wasn't for the fact the hostess later came out to greet us we would have accidentally rang the neighbor's doorbell. The hospitality was amazing. A drink was offered, the garden and pool were made in order so we could sit and relax and we were offered the possibilities to dine and/or have breakfast if we wished (for a fee, though). She even offered to help carry the luggage. The castle looks stunning! Dated but fairly well maintained on the outside, and beautiful, lovingly renovated and maintained on the inside, reflecting on the room. The room (offered as a suite, but in reality actually a very classy room) reflected this and was beautifully decorated as well, with a very comfy bed, chairs, a bathroom with a bath and shower (though no place to hang up the shower) which also looked the past of a 18th century castle.

Großartiges Ambiente. Stilvoll historisch eingerichtete Zimmer. Leider war das Bett viel zu weich. Toller Außenbereich. Ländliche am Ortsrand neben der Autobahn gelegen. Zu später Stunde war dann kaum noch Lärm, so dass wir das Fenster bis in den frühen Morgen offen lassen konnten. Freundliches Personal.

Magnifique château aux portes d'Épinal. Nous avons passé un excellent moment. L'accueil et les prestations sont vraiment à recommander. A très bientôt.
Très bel établissement, très chaleureux. Très bon accueil des propriétaires. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, et la piscine couverte très agréable. Golf, restaurants, brocantes à proximité. On reviendra avec plaisir !
