Stopped in while the wife and I were away for the weekend and at first the place does look really run down. However the food was pretty good. My wife had eggs benedict and said they were the best she ever ate. I agree they tasted really good and they use a thin ham that make them even better. The home fries were really good as well. I had the country fried state and it was pretty bland. The gravy was good but the steak was small, thin and a bit flavorless. My eggs were good, the pancakes are huge and tasted pretty good. Biggest plus was the prices. Everything was very cheap so it made up for a lot. All this place needs is some updating to freshen it up. Try them.

Hidden little gem! The East Mauch Chunk Eatery is a friendly and diverse little eatery that boasts delicious breakfasts. This was our first visit and definitely not our last! Our eggs and omelette were cooked perfectly, the chicken fried steak was crunch yet tender and moist, the sausage gravy is homemade, and the fried potatoes the best I've ever had. The coffee was excellent!! The atmosphere is welcoming, warm and relaxing. The owners and the locals treat you just like family. This is a must stop at and dine eatery if you are in the area. I did see a bad review about closing the door. I'm sorry the customer felt as if they were being singled out. I can assure you that is not what we saw or felt while we were visiting. Everyone was welcome and treated like family.

Great hometown kinda place. Had a very enjoyable breakfast. Dont expect fancy decor. Do expect good food and great service.

All the way from Bridgewater, NJ, we loved this breakfast place! Classic american breakfast served with very unique menu items. The place has old original feel which makes it feel more authentic. The country fried steak with homemade sausage gravy was the best I ever had. They also serve eggs benedict, classic, piggy, and popeye style! Everyone should try and enjoy!

This place was horrible. My friend and I walked in and no one greeted us, after five minutes the waitress told us we could sit at a table in the back. The waitress wasn’t wearing a mask at any point and there were no social distancing measures. She wanted to sit us right next to a couple and there was no one else at any of the tables. We just decided to leave, knowing our impeding horrible experience. My whole experience here was unacceptable and I won’t ever be coming back or recommending it to anyone. I don’t know how this place has as many five star reviews as it does.
