Some of the best food I’ve had in a very long time. Fresh ingredients and good atmosphere. I live a few hours away and would make the drive just to eat here. Only down shot was service was a little slow with refilling drinks and not very attentive, ended up having to ask for some silverware and sharing plates; not the end of the world and won’t stop me from coming back.

We went to Moya for my birthday. We had seen it before having spent some time in Jim Thorpe. We sat and ordered a bunch of plates as they are a small plate place- menu recommends 2-4 plates per person. Everything we ate was executed well and seasoned nicely. This place gets 3 stars because the manger felt the need to put us in our place for running late. We showed up late, yes I acknowledge we were late, but this lady handled it all wrong. It’s not what she said but how she approached it. And it was all for nothing. She wasn’t even greeting us but felt the need to state we where 20 minutes late. Not realizing I apparently just ruined this women’s day I joking said ‘better late then never. Then felt the need to tell us “well that is 20 minutes less you have for dinner.” This put a bad taste in our mouths. It took a few minutes for us to shake it off. So we sat there while we ate watching to see if the tables would fill up. Guess what they didn’t. We even had dessert still not full. We dropped a decent bit. And when we paid and left guess what still empty tables. So good on this woman for chastising us so they could stare at all the empty tables. She could have easily waited to see if it became an issue before making it into one. It’s Covid times so be glad we aren’t afraid to eat out and make as feel welcome in your business not like sh*t cause we had a hiccup in getting there. While the food is good and worth it this women made us not what to come back.
Very cozy place, great for date night or any other celebration. One fish was better than the next. The wait staff was attentive but not overbearing.
Food and service was excellent. Favorite place I've eaten in Jim Thorpe. Upscale and a bit pricey but worth it
Wonderful! Delicious food, interesting unique menu. Great decor and ambience. Friendly, efficient service.
