Can't wait for them to reopen. Covid has taken it's toll on many businesses. Get on their mailing list, lot's of great acts to come!

What a beautiful opera house and Jim Thorpe is a quaint town. I wish I could have spent more time there. I went to the opera house to see Enter the Haggis in concert. The architecture is amazing and the small museum in the balcony gives a great overview of the opera houses’s history. There is not a bad seat in the house and the sound system was great! I can’t wait to go back and explore more of the town.

A very nice Opera House set in the middle of scenic Jim Thorpe! What more could you ask for?... Oh, an amazing sound system? Check. Some snacks or an alcoholic beverage? Check. This place is really great. A little old and worn down, but that's to be expected and it does not detract from the overall experience. And for real the sound system is top notch. I was a audio system salesman for a while and this is up there with the best of them. They could maybe use a few more panels to tone down the highs, or perhaps their sound engineer is older and can't hear those high pitched tones so he pumped up the EQ on them, but other than that on point!

Family time at the Opera house is always fun, especially for the children!

Went there for the first time on 1-17-20 to see Driftwood n Mike Brown. Great acoustics. Very intimate, 370 seats. Loose vibe. I heard the guy that designed Carnegie Hall, designed this place. Has a small bar in the lobby that sells wine, beer, n spirits that's reasonably priced. Definitely go back!Woulda given it 5 stars but for two things. First, no parking..at all. Just street parking. Drop everyone off out front n keep driving up or down the until you find a spot. Second, it's in need of some TLC. Two outa five had allergy issues from the old space. Not too bad, but ya might need a Claritin.
