A small cozy comforting atmosphere. The food and portions were perfect. Especially the peppermint hot chocolate and hot apple cider. The waitress was joyful and helpful. We enjoyed the kicking crab soup so much we sent our compliments to the chef. The sweet chef and wonderful bread maker came out personally to say hello. Through the looking glass is definitely a treasure to be found in Jim Thorpe, PA.

Loved the food, loved the quirky atmosphere, we got to meet Cosgrove who was a fabulous pup of a dinner host, and had an overall awesome dining experience. Not to mention we loved the old school form of advertising by the waitress & her clever shouts roped customers right in! We’ll definitely be going back. Thank you all!

Dory and Bree were amazing!!! They made our trip to Jim Thorpe memorable and we will be talking about this for a long time! Make sure to ask for pictures of Thomas and Cosgrove and holler for customers on the way out. You will not regret coming in, the only thing better than the people was the food!!

Great surprise to walk in off the street after being coaxed in by a lovely hostess/waitress. Delicious from the amazing Crab with a Kick soup to the unbelievable fresh cut dinner salad that had everything from crisp greens to nice white mushrooms to craisins and walnuts to perfectly grilled steak. Accompanied by a piano man, David! The server was a sweet and lively young waitress that added character to the experience. Can’t wait to experience their breakfast with homemade pancakes and fresh fruits.
