I have been taking lessons from Jimmy for about 10 months or so. I have learned so much, and he really lays out a lesson plan that is specific to my goals and expectations. We have switched back and forth from learning theory and then to songs I want to learn. If you are trying to teach yourself and are thinking about formal lessons from Jimmy, I strongly recommend it. I learned more in the first couple weeks than I did trying to teach myself for 2 months.
