Jim's appears to be an anachronism in this day and age. The shop is very clean and well-equipped, and all persons I dealt with were very courteous and service was prompt. I took them a rotary phase converter that wouldn't run, and with a one-day turnaround they replaced a blown fuse -- all that it needed. They could have told me the motor needed re-winding or expensive capacitors needed replacing - but they didn't. It is nice to know that shops like this still exist, even if they are in the minority. I highly recommend Jim's to anyone with an electric motor issue. Skip
