I had an excellent experience shopping for spices and tea here with the owner. His shop is on two floors and covers spices, spice mixes, high quality tea (both pure and fruity) and even essential oils and perfumes. It's essential you come here without a driver or a guide as the you'll get the best, real prices - coming with a guide or driver the prices will be augmented 50% or more with their commission. I can tell for sure the spices are fresher and the mixes better than the popular Suncity spice shop next door (a shop known for taking commissions from drivers as well). I've bought high quality Darjeeling here (FTPBOP) at 70% discount price compared to Europe, and am looking forward to try it. Thanks!

Very bad experience. Merchant 'advised' by my driver (maybe had a comission on that), we felt under pressure all the time. we said many time 'now it's okay, we have everything we want' and he still continue to keep us and try to sell as much as possible. When it was time for selling flavored teas, he gives us opportunity to smell various teas and the smells was awesome (I have a very good nose for that). We bought 5-6 packs quite expensive teas because similar prices maybe more expensive compared to what we have in europe. Back at home, I opened one of them and the smell of the tea was nothing to do with the 'opened box' at the shop!!! At the price they sell teas and spices, it's unacteptable to have this kind of trick!!!
