A wonderful place but over used by people if you want a good night sleep maybe not ,people driving in and out all night long , otherwise a beautiful place to stay...it's clean and everyone was nice and happy..but people were arriving at five am to go surfing ...got out of the tent to be surrounded by cars .... overall a great place

A short walk from carpark will open up to this lovely beach. We only walked to the far right where you can head into a little cave. there are rockpools where you may spot a crab but we didnt venture much further, will do next time

Johanna Beach is a very beautiful place. The beach is clean and the surf is excellent. Due to the rips, it is not recommended for children or the inexperienced. However, the river is a great place to play. The rock shelfs are an excellent place to explore at low tide too. We were disappointed that the camp ground was packed with people camping and many without paying and in spots that are not camp areas. The toilets are run down and messy and one door slammed all night in the wind. For the money, I expected more. A fantastic place to visit for the day!

Lovely campground, plenty of room, though I can imagine it’d be a bit cramped if all the sites were taken. Right next to an awesome beach, lovely views of the hills and the ocean. Grass was lush, good toilet facilities. No light pollution, lovely time.

This is an incredible beach. Again, to rough for swimming when we were there. Camp grounds are good. The wife and I have laughed at people giving low ratings to people who complain about sand flies / insects, but we were made the fool. On dusk we (the whole campsite too) got swarmed by sandflies. Like bad enough to have to move sites, clean out van and have a very irritated sleep. So take the fly spray and insect repellent for a nicer time cause the camp spot of beautiful. Also, we payed 9 more an hour down the road and got showers, electricity and free wifi... so the price is abit steal of a patch of grass.

Amazing beach, very rough! The amount of flies was overwhelming - we had planned to camp but the sheer number that hit us as soon as we got out of our car was too much.

Astonishing weather on a beach facing the Great Southern Ocean. Good toilets with rain water tank.

A gorgeous spot, truly rugged and beautiful coastline. The sand is very soft and hard to walk through so be prepared for legs of steel after visiting and though it's definitely not a good swimming beach the rock pools make excellent mini pools for kids and relaxing spots for adults.
