Excellent! If you are interested in knowing the history of this rainbow country, no matter what you've read or where else you've been in that regard, you just have to visit the Apartheid museum. Good signage. The creativity even as you enter with your tickets (you'd understand when you're get there) makes you have a deeper understanding of the past. Of course, reliving some of these experiences maybe disturbing but it is definitely a worthwhile venture.

First time visiting and I was not disappointed. Truly loved the information, although it is a heavy feeling to shake of the atrocities.

Our Family Adventures

This is a must see for the family. They have done a wonderful job telling the story of the Apartheid and the horrendous consequences.

I spent 3 hours here and only left because I was getting tired. High quality exposition and content. It's a little bit far away from the city center, but otherwise, a must see!

Own of the best and only places you'll have to visit while in Johannesburg. If you like history or would like to learn more about South Africa's past this is definitely a must go. You can easily spend 3 to 5 hours here reading, listening, watching and walking around - there a lot of content to go through. There's also a place to get food within the museum.
