Hello. I'm a student of IH Johannesburg . I started my course on the 11th January 2021 and I'm really enjoying it here. IH Johannesburg is a good school language. I love the teachers because I find them funny and professional. The classes filled with joy, peace and love. I find the director from IH Johannesburg very kind, the receptionist, the computer room person and the teachers and all of them are polite and respectful to student. I didn't see any teacher angry or nervous. They do everything to ensure that we are satisfied with their work. I am very satisfied with lessons. When I do not understand and ask the question, the teacher re- explains without problem and with professionalism. I advice IH Johannesburg toe other foreign students.

Hello , My name Lyne NGUELE I’m from Gabon . I’m currently doing an upper intermediate course , I arrived in South Africa in January 2021 and then I started here. I’m staying for 1 year. IH Johannesburg is situated at 54 De Korte Street Braamfontein. The school offers many courses such as General and Business English , CELTA and Aviation. It can also help you to prepare your IELTS and Cambridge Exam. Also Every last Friday of the month we have social programs so we can relax after our test on Thursday but also a special occasion like Valentine’s Day etc... I really enjoy the teaching methodology, we’re thought via Jokes , Games , Music etc... we’re using books which are Cutding Edge editions and Total English. The teachers are qualified , They really know their Job. From my side , when I arrived I knew nothing about English but they helped me a lot to improve my English. Classes start at 8:15 A.M , Then there is a tea break for 30 min and we go back to class until 12:45. Classes restart at 13:45 to 14:45 after we’ve a computer room class. For those who want to learn English in South Africa , I highly recommend International House Johannesburg. You won’t be disappointed, it’s the best way for you to learn quickly.

Hello everyone my name is Meryl MISSONGO and I am from GABON.My levet at I.H is upper Intermediate and I am staying for Advance. The school is located at 54 de Korte Street Braamfontein,In Fact I.H is situated in Braam,they offer to everyone many kinds of courses like general English,Business English and Aviation.There are also other activities like the library,computer rooms and Social programs at the end of every month,after each exam. About the teaching methodology it’s really interesting they use educational games,music for listening and some jokes to make us comfortable during the class. I really recommend I.H cause the teachers have cambridge qualifies and When I started here see How the teachers and all the staff were I was very confident that I might improve my English and speak much better than everyone.In fact I.H is the school for me and for everyone to become successful in English

I’m doing language course where I’m leaning English at International House. I have been studying there for 3 years. We have a computer room which we go once a week to do our work, which a quick and easy way of dealing with school work, and now that we are on quarantine we are having only meetings so we don’t miss out on school work. My teacher's name is Matt he is a kind person he always worried about us he is good teacher. Our lessons very good end exacting. We learn about vocabulary, grammar and listening in the class. In the class we do exercices like vocabulary grammar listening pronunciations writing and reading. Yes l would recommend because is good course for people who want to learn English.

Hello My name is Karen Manrique, I’ve been studying at International House Johannesburg for one year, I’m in the Intermediate Class, It’s a good school the people are friendly, the facilities classrooms, computer room and library are very comfortable, the teachers are friendly, helpful and very professional. I think the quality of teaching is good. I think my progress in learning English is good if slow get steady. The administration staff are friendly and helpful. I study for five hours a day and the benefits are hearing different accents, new words and learning grammar. I hear different stories from the other students who are also learning English here. The social program is a good it is possible to talk with the other students in a relaxed environment, I enjoy the day. In my opinion the COVID-19 protocols are okay because all time we use the sanitizers and the bathrooms are clean. I give the school five starts because it is a good place, my progress is nice and the teachers and directors are very friendly people and I feel very happy.

I'm taking classes of English at International House Johannesburg already for 2 months. But last month we introduced General English course online classes, and online classes are given at Zoom and Netlanguages. We’ve Zoom classes twice a day, and we practice doing exercises at Netlanguages where the teacher can follow the development of each student. And our teacher is Matthew Bailey, he also makes a video call on whatsapp to find out what were the difficulties that each student had in order to help him. Zoom classes are good because it helps us improve our speech because we can interact or debate with colleagues and the teacher. But I prefer the classes at Netlanguages because in addition to solving the exercises and getting the results on the spot, you can analyze your progress on all topics. I like doing grammar and vocabulary exercises better because if I can master these two areas well, the others will be easier to improve. The material given us in the course is diverse and interesting, the study method is very good and normal for the level. And the teacher’s response is always quick, positive and encouraging, and it encourages us to progress and improve our English. If anyone needs to learn or improve English I would recommend the online classes at International House Johannesburg because in addition to learning you get assistance from teachers all day.
