Same comment as others regarding John Henry cable laying division. Noise, disturbance, mess, inconvenience all with no initial interaction with the local community, homeowners etc or I'm guessing the Parish council to iron out problems and sort out boundary lines etc upfront. Even in designated conservation areas. Except for a leaflet through the letter box. They do seem to have an insular attitude working within their own little bubble, detrimentally impacting on other people's life and sometimes property and I do feel a greater initial visible management presence over the first few days of work would be mutually helpful. A mobile on site office set up for a few days or the first week so residents can have their fears and concerns addressed. Just a thought. It would help with regards to the Companies public image and make the overall job a lot less fractious. With snags and bumps ironed out up front and not along the way. So if this travelling circus is coming to a place near you you now know what to expect. If you have concerns there are contact details on the leaflet but be pro-active. Approach the ever busy hardworking workers with a smile, they don't bite, or even better track down the chap wearing a shirt under the hi vis vest.
