A wonderful, SAFE place to get a good cup of coffee. I love the walk up window, which makes it more convenient for me to grab some caffeine with little ones in tow. The batistas are friendly, and all of my drinks have been tasty. They also have a nice selection of food pairings that look delicious (though I haven't sampled them personally). Another perk is their online ordering system, so getting coffee can be almost contact-free.

My husband and I love Dos Gatos. Amazing drinks and very friendly staff. The owner has really taken care of his employees during the pandemic and adapted his business to provide a an ordering window to safely serve during these crazy times. Local pottery to drink from. This is a coffee house that’s so local you’ll see your neighbors there every time you visit. A real gem.
I'm typically one to get my coffee to go and I love the new app, Odeko, they have where you can pre-order! It's easy to use and fast! Of all the people who really take their coffee seriously, Dos Gatos stands out. They literally go to "coffee conventions" to learn about the process...and whatever else happens at those things. I'd like to find out for myself sometime, sounds fun! The quality shows and they have the super cool Nitro Bike which is awesome for events! It's just a neat place all around and the owners are fabulous!
Friendly window service in the back under a covered sidewalk with a few well-spaced tables and chairs. Plenty of choices for a simple lunch; I had the avocado hummus served on a thick slice of oat bread and iced tea. No in-store service or seating during COVID, and reduced hours.
Really good coffee! Pandemic required window ordering on the back side (no in store). So glad to find this coffee spot in downtown Johnson City.
Was leaving Johnson City and wanted a good latte for the road. Older part of downtown, a lot of closed surrounding shops. With Covid, had to go to the walk up window at back lot of shop. It was worth the wait! I've lived in Florida, Colorado, New Mexico and Tennessee. It is one of the smoothest, tastiest vanilla lattes I have had in years. And artfully done!
The staff was friendly and helpful. There were no ordered before our order, but my chai latte and my husband's caramel latte were not hot... at all. I'm also unsure why there is an extra 1 charge for the gluten-free toast when it's 1/3 size smaller than the regular toast. You're already getting less bread if you pay the regular price of toast, but to get less and pay more is ridiculous. I understand that most gluten-free items have a mark up, but no need for it here.
