I have spent numerous hours on hold many times and I am getting no where with them. Horrible customer service. 7 weeks waiting and they still have not come to pick up the tank. We had no problems when it was Heritage and you could talk to the local office. Ever since they became Amerigas - the service is horrible. We never want to do business with them again.

I have tried to contact Heritage, now Amerigas for over 2 months for a service call. I have emailed & I have called & waited on hold while working, for hours at a time just to be cut off. I have heard the message of how they are trying to improve their service way too many times. My fireplace logs will not start and so today i finally reach customer service and I have to speak with someone who I cannot understand. I asked the location I am calling and after asking the 3rd time, he tells me the Philippines. He has my account number and name, which is what I would give if I called my local office but now I am asked my address, & phone number too. I have mentioned not paying the fee for the tank until this is resolved but this man that I hardly understand tells me I have a late fee of 36.00 now that he will note is disputed. It will be 7-10 days for a service call and if I choose to have the tank removed it will be an extra charge. So, AMERIGAS, this is not an improvement! And you can't post anything on here without at least one star!
The people I deal with are always very helpful and courteous. They strive to answer any and all of my questions and exhibit the highest level of professionalism. They go out of their way to make sure I not only understand what they are doing - but why as well.
My 73 year old mom requested service when her tank was at 40%. She was told she was on auto delivery and they would get to her. She called back at 20% and was told they would get to her. She called back below 10% on Friday and was told she was already scheduled for Saturday. No show. It is now Sunday, and Mom ran out of propane today. This is unacceptable.
it would not let me post a no star. i have been onhold for 1hr 30 min to talk to customer service. only to be told the local office was not available. total bs. i have been waiting since november for my gas meter to be turned on. i got a bill but the meter is still locked. aweful aweful customer service. if customer service is their top priority according to the recording they are in very bad shape because they suck at it.
