Thought the store was awesome but wish I could say the same about the employees. I went there today to pick out costumes for my kids. I felt like I was being followed and watched like a hawk. Made me feel like they thought I had planned on shoplifting which wasn’t the case. Also, I heard the two cashiers talking very badly about customers and bewildering “moms these days”. Seemed like a direct insult to myself. From my onion, the taller blonde cashier hated her job and clearly didn’t want to be there. She was so negative and unfriendly, not to mention wasn’t wearing her mask properly. She just sat there with a piss poor attitude. We went to party city right after and wow what a difference in employees.

I love this store and I usually look forward to its opening every year. However, the interaction I had this morning with the cashier was horrible. I came in to return some items I had ordered online and she immediately went off about how she hates doing online order returns and how she "shouldn't have to deal with this today". She bemoaned that she travels an hour to go to work here. She was rude throughout the transaction which took over 20 minutes to complete. I remained calm and polite but her tirade didn't end. When I told her I paid with PayPal she then complained that this was going to empty her drawer. Like I said, normally I love this store and I was going to look around after the return but she treated me so badly I just left as soon as I was able to.

My friends and I went two days in a row and both days the employees were very disrespectful. We were told we had 24 hours to make an exchange and went into the store the next day to make an exchange and weren’t even allowed through the door with the item. When we asked why, the lady was rude and responded “You can’t do it. You can’t do it. You can’t come into the store with the product.” Then after, she decided to roll her eyes at my friend after asking another employee why a girl was able to make an exchange.

They saved me. Ordered from Amazon and it was a disaster. Should have gone here first. I will from now on. Almost identical prices nice to be able to touch, see and try on. Great selection of costumes and decorations as well. Friendly staff and a 20% off coupon was the bonus.

Always a great staff and a good selection of costumes and decorations. They also have cute mugs, socks, car magnets/stickers and other little items too that don't fit into JUST Halloween costumes and decor. I look forward to this specific location opening every year!
