I can't tell you enough about how I value the care that my two dogs receive at JVA. They board there and it is so comforting to see the interaction between the staff and my dogs that I take them there. When they get their exams or if there is an issue, they know my dogs and take the time to do a thorough examination. They also accept responsibility for any mistakes that may occur very graciously. They are so accommodating and my dogs love going there and the staff.

My Irish Setter puppy had a health crisis and I needed an emergency vet and the vet practice I was using did not respond to my call. Dr. Assad called me within minutes, made an emergency appointment to see my puppy, performed tests and determined what had been the issue for weeks that had gone undiagnosed. The cost for an emergency visit was more than fair [much less than the other vet practice], the follow up by the Vet and staff was much appreciated. I have since made JVA my veterinary of choice. Their service is outstanding, their costs the most reasonable in the area, and most importantly they truly love the pets who come to them for care. Mr. Paddy adores the staff and the staff adores him. This very happy owner appreciates all that they do. You can trust them with the care of your pet!

My first experience with JVA was several years ago when I was dogsitting for my sister's family, moving cross-country. When it was time to put this sweet boy on a plane, I was unaware that several things needed done by a veterinarian and I panicked. I called Dr. Assad and that day, he was able to handle every i and t that needed dotted and crossed and B was able to fly to his new home. Because of that, I knew exactly where to take my own two rescues in November of 2016. Other than two weeks of dogsitting, I never had a dog, let alone two. I was able to discuss with the doctor innumerable questions and concerns I had- I was certainly the patient that day and received excellent care. We have been back for a few things in the past year and a half, and, every visit without exception, my dogs were treated thoroughly, skillfully, and lovingly. I had no compunctions leaving my dogs in their care overnight, and I was even welcomed in for a quick visit while my younger was staying. As a first-time pet parent, I am probably much like a first-time parent- I am nervous about who cares for them and how in my absence, what they are doing every second, etc. I am completely at ease with everyone at JVA from the receptionist to the techs to the doctors. The cost of the care is reasonable, and the care itself is superb. I am certain many vets in our area are competent and caring, but I cannot imagine my dogs in the hands of anyone else. They handle emergency situations immediately, and calling in for appointments or even questions is a pleasant experience. From start to finish, I am beyond satisfied with the care my darlings receive and recommend with no reservation whatsoever JVA for anyone's pet care. I am truly grateful.
