Definitely, one of the best Donkatsu place in Seoul or entire country. Simple interior with semi open kitchen to serve Donkatsu fanatics, huge population actually. The Donkatsu here is not fancy, rather it looks ordinary enough to be mistaken as pass-by Donkatsu places. They are very clever to put a ordinary look to it. Except the Yuzu sauce which gives refreshing touch to the fried pork cuts, the plate is typical. The chopped cabbage, usual miso soup, and pickled vegies. Its taste, however, is extraordinary. The contrast between its nondescript look and authenticity and depth was great pleasure, to be honest. Not many things would please me better than this Donkatsu and cold beer. As a named place, I would have felt more comfortable with real sauce bottle in front if the kitchen. They were obviously recycling plastic sauce bottle to serve small batches. I’d go back to this place for sure but hope they care more about the utensils and kitchen wares just a little bit.

Stunning katsu, but the quality of rice cooked was not that I expected, way more sticky however willing to visit again for sure.

One of the best katsu in Seoul. But I prefer Gangnam branch than here. I recommend 히레.

They serve quite nkce Curry and Donkatsu. This place was on media so it is famous around locals. Bit pricy though.

An international branch of the famous Japanese tonkatsu restaurant Ginza Bairin. Here the prices are truly international; quality of the foods are not, though. With a few more bucks you can enjoy real authentic Japanese tonkatsu at Anzu. You can also enjoy great Japanese tonkatsu at other Korea-born tonkatsu restaurants like Myeong-dong Donkatsu on a less budget.

Delicious. Better than the Honolulu location IMHO. Get the tonkatsu sandwich as an appetizer. They use Jeju black pig, yummy!

A decent Tonkatsu restaurant. The cuts are thick and juicy. This place uses very fresh meat to start with. In terms of the food quality, it is definitely better than those other franchise restaurants in Seoul and even probably matches those few in Japan. The price might be a bit expensive for a simple meal, but I would say it is well worth the price when you feel craving for a decent Tonkatsu from time to time. The restaurant is very spacious and clean. It just somehow lacks cozy feelings in the atmosphere.
