Very tourist local market. Great place for experience and food. I usually go for hanbok fabrics and accessories. Very cheap compare to Insadong or other korean souvenir shops. If you want to explore more for hanbok and fabrics or even designed shell boxes go upstairs and wander around.

We had dinner in one of the many restaurants at the market and it was great! Some of the meals can be vegetarian friendly like the 'jeon' which is a vegetable and eggs
Always something interesting. Fantastic food, and fabric for a steal. Don't forget the 2nd floor.
Very touristic and relatively clean. If you are into learning local cultures through wondering local markets, this is the one for Korean in Seoul. It contains food, cloth and many different daily required things. In terms of food, the choices are virtually over a hundred so it is easy to get lost along the way trying to find a suitable one. However, do your research before arriving and decide your must have. The highlight for me was to have the noodle stand that was featured on Netflix show - Street Food. The noodle soup was very nice and noodle done just right. The lady chef/ owner was also very nice and kind to customers. I would say it’s worth of just coming to have a bowl of noodle here the the rest could just be random choices. If you enjoy taking street photography, here is the place to be too.
Visiting Gwangjang Market was a lot of fun. At first we entered by a side entrance and were perplexed because all we could find were textile vendors. Then, as we continued exploring, we found some good souvenir shops and delicious food vendors. It seemed like many more locals (than tourists) visit here. There are literally hundreds of shops here so it had an authentic feel. Be sure to bring cash as credit cards are accepted less here than other places.
Crowded and cramped, but an interesting experience. An absolute must is to try the Pajeon (Korean style pancakes), which is fairly cheap.
Breakfast place, I'm famished!!! Super nice rice cakes and fish maws(?)
One of the best places to visit when you are looking for local food. This place hosts two Netflix-featured vendors. Tried the noodle soup which tasted really nice, almost like home-cooked. Plenty of other snacks too, definitely a good place to start your breakfast!
