Shout out to Dan Smith and all the good people at Jordan River Insurance! Not only are they great people who do so much for their neighborhood and community, they truly have your insurance needs covered in a very caring and professional way. Let's be honest, most of us never really think about our insurance; it's just something we have to have. Until we need it, that is! In that moment, it's reassuring to know you have these guys on your side. The one time we did have a claim, they helped make a stressful situation much more manageable. Being an independent agency, they are able to shop around to truly find the best package and pricing to fit your needs. Recently they helped me upgrade my coverage and tweak things so that when my teenagers start driving, we'll be set up with the best possible auto insurance. And last year, Dan was able to set me up with earthquake insurance at surprisingly affordable rates - only weeks after the earthquake here in the Salt Lake valley. I normally don't do a lot of these business endorsements, but feel happy to do so with this great company. I heartily recommend Jordan River Insurance for all your insurance needs!

Dan was very nice on the phone and returned a couple emails I sent. He told me it would be about a week before he had quotes for me. 10 days went by and I still hadn't heard from him. We ended up signing up for plan on our own. We called Dan again and couldn't reach him. One of his employees ended up looking up the rates for us and told us which company would be best. So while they were sort of helpful, I wasn't thrilled that we ended up waiting almost two weeks to get car insurance (and ended up signing up for it without their help) and having to contact them because they never got back to us.
