Such a little gem of a place. Stopped in after completing the Cabot trail, and we were pleasantly surprised. Food, music, and service was excellent. Friendly faces all around. Make sure you're here during the live music!

Nice spot to stop in for lunch and catch some local music. Lunch ceilidh available every day and Sunday ceilidhs as well. Support the local musicians.

Excellent service and music. A great place to visit when in the area. Would happily return.

The staff were fun and kind, the food was amazing! And the musicians were incredibly talanted. Though the number of tables and poeple allowed to sit and eat was limited do to Covid-19, it was lively and and i had a grand time. From music to stories to food, the cultural exsperience will last a lifetime!

Great music and especially great service Allison you rock and your step dancing was awesome. We were also there about two weeks ago and another waitress don’t remember her name but she had tattoos on her arms, she also was super nice. Good Cape Breton hospitality.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff, loved the live music at lunch. Ran out of the soup we wanted after we ordered, but apologized and were very prompt at getting us something else. If you're in the area my family recommends this place!

The lunch time Ceilidh really does not deserve to be called by that name. The food was good, but the main disappointment was the music. There were two young ladies playing were OK, but certainly not to the typical level of Cape Breton musicians. It was pretty clear that neither of them had their hearts in it, and their quick 3 minute sets would be followed by long 5 to 10 minute breaks where they would just sit and talk to each other. There was no engagement with the audience at all, even though there are microphones nearby. When someone would ask a question, they would just answer the question without a mic, so no one else was able to hear. It was disappointing to think that someone might come to Cape Breton and that they might leave thinking they had an authentic Cape Breton fiddling experience. Much better to go to a local ceilidh or, even better, a local square dance.
