10/10/16 This place is pretty damn Nice for the price! Paid 64tax for this room. After reading some comments I was a bit sceptical about staying here! But I'm happy I went for it! The rooms are AMAZING ,Clean, lots of space, with nice big beds and microwave and mini fridge! Two Huge mirrors for the ladies, at the end of the day yes I would return and yes I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area!! A

Sign still says comfort inn. This place is great for 70 bucks a nights. Comfortable soft beds. Smells great and clean all the way around staff last night was friendly. I wouldn't ever hesitate to stay here again!!
Nice decor. Rooms look spacious and modern. I've been to the hotel quite a few times in the past 3 months and they haven't fixed their pool and hot tub, so that concerns me. Overall a nice hotel tho
The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is only one elevator and it's rather small for a 3 story hotel. Also the vending machine on the second floor was out of cola, water, and sprite, the only ones I like and it declined to give me my money back when I pressed the change return. The girl at the front desk was wonderful though and didn't even bat an eye, just filled out a little card and gave me my money back which I really didn't expect, I only mentioned it figuring they could put a sign on it. I have stayed at Choice Hotels, usually Comfort ones in many locations and have seldom had anything to complain about outside of things like a soda machine that they only have nominal control over. The last time I stayed the front desk girl was very nice to me. I got up to my room to discover the central lights wouldn't turn on. I suspected they were unplugged and called about it assuming a maintenance type worker would come up. If you don't know me you don't realize that I do have some handicaps such as a fused lower back that wasn't happy about all the driving and was having nothing to do with bending and twisting to find the plug in. Given that I appear completely capable I wouldn't have blamed the girl at all if she seemed a bit put out at having to come do such a simple thing. She was professional and nice to me instead which I appreciated as things like that can be embarrassing for me. I have no idea where the poster who thought they were snooty got that idea from; maybe he needs to be a bit nicer in his tone to them and then his perception will hear good instead of his clearly expected bad.
According to staff, this is no longer a Comfort Inn. The amenities were sparse...pool and hot tub closed. They wouldn't honor the Orbitz price and charged 25 for the dog. (Comfort Inn is USUALLY 10). There was no water in the machines and breakfast was either cheerios or nasty gravy and biscuits. No fruit, no pancakes or waffles, no eggs at all. They didn't even have cream for the coffee!! The rooms were fairly clean though there was a LOT of hair between one of the bed's mattresses. We have to go to a restaurant for a decent breakfast. I have stayed at worse, to be sure, but when the lit signs still show "Comfort Inn", I expect a whole heck of a lot more.
Name has been changed to Junction City Inn & Suites. Room was nice, but I think they're still working put the links on service with the new ownership. Breakfast was minimal.
Motel was not American owned or operated as stated. Pool and spa had been broken for over a month and when booked none of that was mentioned. Room smelled like cat pee, front desk person was not friendly at all. Breakfast in the morning was empty by 7 am and the front desk person stated she did not know how to make more an then said all the equipment was not working. Don't offer breakfast from 630-830 if you cannot feed your guest's. Would not recommend this motel to anybody.
Stay anywhere but here!!! If you want a free breakfast, forget about it. They ran out of EVERYTHING by 8:00 am on a Saturday......no bread, no butter, no cereal, no coffee, NO NOTHING. The refrigerator was also broken and we had to throw away our sandwiches that we had planned to eat later that afternoon. The "Executive Suite" was a joke......scratched up furniture, broken chair, mold in toilet, and bathroom needed to be remodeled. We stayed in an Econolodge in another part of Kansas that was cheaper and way better! We are NOT picky people, but this place was BAD!
