First of all John still has my engine to this day, he’s had it since early December and has yet to answer a phone call the whole time. I have spoke to John in person and every time he says “next week” well there’s been many “next weeks” still no engine. Recently I’ve decided I’m done waiting I just want my engine back and I’ll buy a Longblock but once AGAIN no answer and I need my engine for a core. I would never use him again, and my point of posting this is to get my engine back.

Basically lied to me for 6 months saying he was doing work to my car and never did. Then called the police when we confronted him. John's a crook

I have used place for many years and never had any issues with their work or the way they have treated me or other people that have I have been there when other people were there. I have never seen John be mean towards anyone.

I took my car to him a few years ago. He let it sit for a couple of weeks and did no work on it. I came back to retrieve my car, and he said I owed him a hundred dollars for repairs. I said I was not paying for no work. John Day, then came into my personal space with a heavy wrench two inches from my nose. He called me all kinds of nasty names and was shouting at me. I was cornered to a wall. I pulled out a concealed police stick that was in my pocket. The owner then turned around and left me alone. I was standing there all alone while he called the police on me. I tried to leave. The police caught up to me. The police sided with John Day and arrested me for Aggravated assault. I eventually ended up doing 6 months in jail for pulling the weapon and threatening to beat him with it. There was no regard by the police that I was pinned to a wall with a heavy mechanic's wrench two inches from my face. John Day is not somebody you want to do business with. He has a bad temper, and rumor has it that the man is scandalous. I have heard rumors that he swaps out parts on vehicles that he works on, although I have never seen it for myself. If you do do business with this guy, better practice Open Carry of firearms, as allowed in Kansas now.
