The Service falls way short - they have better things to do here then take care of customers. I have not seen that level of bad service in a long time. In short - bad dining experience. The beer is good but only because they don't brew it themselves. I have had more attentive wait staff at the Drive Though at McDonalds...

Took our kids out for wings. We were not informed that they had a "truck mix up" until after we were ready to order. We went to Coach's. Gave them another chance tonight. Ready to order and THEN informed they were out of Bleu cheese for wings. Okay. We went out and got our own and came back. We have an MVP card so I got bone in wings even though I don't really care for them because there is a decent discount. After the meal, we were informed that the server had no clue how to look up the card. Then the MANAGER had no idea and said it couldn't even be done, which is a lie since it had been done many times in the past. Past experiences include a server ignoring us to flirt with customers, managers screaming at each other in a meeting where EVERY ONE could hear, blatant screw ups on food with no apologies or compensation. Horrible experience after horrible experience. I am through wasting my time and money. Coach's wings are better anyway.
Only ate here twice before, being new to the area, and then on the third time I suffered from food poisoning. Use your imagination but all the bad things that come with it was what I experienced after about 4-5 hours after eating here. It was the Southwest Chicken Wrap and since it was the only meal I ate all day and everything else I ate there others shared and were fine it had to be the Wrap. Either the chicken or the sauce is my guess. The shame is with the area it seemed like a good choice for a place to eat and before this it was. When I called to inform the management I was not extended any form of apology so it is a for sure that I will never eat here again. I may stop in for a beer though but it is still a Bar & Grill, takes away from that though.
That I had to leave one star on this review is kind to say the least. I take my daughter here because she loves the pretzel burger. The previous visits have been sub-standard. A few months ago, during our visit, my daughter and my wife got their food. Mine never came. My family had finished their meals and still no meal for me. So I brought that to the attention of the server. I received a 'too bad' and I'm sorry, but no offer to make it right. Bad business. The next time, I asked (as always) for a medium rare to rare burger. I was brought a piece of wet shoe leather. So we stop going. It had been a while and my daughter was in the mood for a pretzel burger, so I took her - hoping for a change. I asked, pointedly, for a medium-rare burger. The server said she would not only mark it on the ticket, but bring it to the attention of the cook as well. Needless to say, I was again brought a wet piece of shoe leather. How does Kite's stay in business if they cannot grill a burger to order? The sawdust on my shop table is more appealing and would go down better. I will never again give them my business. I highly encourage you, if you are in the mood for a burger, to visit Sonic, or even McDonalds instead. You will find the fare served much more satisfactory in comparison. In short, do not visit this place. It is not worth the money or the time. And the service is deplorable. Kite's Grille & Bar - you are unacceptable. I will do everything possible to convince people to avoid your restaurant.
The "Nachos of Heroic Proportions" should have been called "Nachos of Historic Blandness" . Huge portion for sure, but no flavor at all. The burgers are juicy and delicious. The fries may have been good a few hours ago, but not by the time I tasted them. The beer is cold at good prices. If you stick to the beer and burgers you will be pleased. Still the best place in Junction City to eat. Of course there aren't a lot of choices.
The waitress is very polite and attentive, also very friendly. Food also looks and taste good too.
Service was very slow. Not very busy and took a long time for food to get out. Food was cold when it did show up. Out of certain menu items and didn't inform till after order was placed. Last time I go to this location.
Went to Kites after JC/Hays fb game. Service was ok. Server was cool though. Was there for High School reunion. The whole town needs a lesson in good customer service. Just my opinion.
