When I arrived to the cabin I booked there was trash everywhere and the beds weren’t made. The office was closed and i couldn’t call anyone because there’s no cell service. I called the next day from another hotel I had to book an hour away and got hung up on twice, the third time a lady told me to stop calling. I sent an email describing what happened and no response. I contacted my credit card company and they temporarily credited my account but steelhead cottages fought it and now I’m dealing with an appeal. I’ve stayed in 3rd world countries all over and have never had an experience like this. Would not recommend to a friend.

Super clean, roomy, comfortable, just perfect location away from busy city living with a beach across the way at the Bigfoot rapids. I would only recommend bringing your own shampoo and blow dryer.
This is the place to stay for relaxation and beautiful scenery. The riverfront access and the Adirondick chairs are a perfect way to enjoy solitude while breathing in the beauty of the surroundings. Clean cabin and comfortable mattress which made for a good rest. The owner Brianna is a delight and made me feel at home.
Great place for a get away! Clean cabins with everything you’ll need. Beautiful views and great little private beach on the trinity river. Owners are great people and staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! We will be back to visit again soon!
Such a great spot! Lovingly maintained and super nice owners. You can tell they love what they do and take pride in their work. And with Bigfoot Rafting and the river right across the street, you can stay AND play! Lots of nature adventures nearby too. Restaurant across the street. Peaceful and quiet. Great getaway.
Very well maintained and extremely friendly, great RV spots, this is our second stay plan on making it an annual event
Very clean. Quiet.
We had a big family reunion/wedding in California and the whole family came up and stayed in several of the cabins. They were cute and rustic, very clean and comfortable with plenty of beds and a small kitchen to prepare your own meals in. The air conditioners in these units kept them nice and cold when it was sweltering heat outside. Each cabin has a nice little deck porch with its own little grill if you'd like to bbq. There was also a very nicely maintained courtyard with a gazebo, table and chairs for relaxing. Matt and Bri (the owners) were incredibly sweet and accommodating and even took the whole family on an amazing rafting trip with their other business Bigfoot Rafting, which is located right across the street. I would highly recommend anyone to come stay in the cabins and while you're there, take a rafting trip. You won't regret it!
