Booked a cabin there and it was a relaxing and safe experience start to finish. Coffee was amazing! From the coffee we brewed in the cabin to the lattes we bought from the shop. Food was also excellent! Everyone was very friendly, everything was very clean, and the location on the river cannot be beat. If you want a peaceful trip away from it all, while still having the luxuries of home and great food nearby Strawhouse is a must visit.

Best place ever. Seriously. There are some restrictions now, but it as expected. They are taking covid-19 seriously, and all the employees were masked up. Super grateful for their diligence. We just got coffee this time, but we have eaten here and the food is amazing. Look into staying here; it is just as unique as it is quant. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful place to just relax and unwind. The cottages are really cute, clean, and well kept. And it's really nice having the cafe there to just grab some food or drink at any time. Staff is great as well.

We always stop here for a fabulous coffee drink and meal. The outdoor patio has an outdoor oven to cook pizza. Delicious! It's so wonderfully situated next to the river on beautiful outdoor patio. Wonderful staff and great little shop. One day we will stay overnight if its available. Peace like a river whether short or longer stay.

Their location is great. I have been there 2 times. I liked their coffee. Their pizza is always fresh and tasty. And I have also tasted their tomato and black beans soup. It was delicious. Service is great and patio is simply gorgeous.

Wow, what a beautiful setting along the Trinity River. We stopped for an early dinner, the views were epic, with the river flowing peacefully by. It was pizza night, very good pizza, and an amazing salad.

The coffee is amazing. It's literally the best I've had in the last five years and we even roast our own. That would be enough, but they make homemade bagels and bagel sandwiches that are killer plus smoothies and pizzas that rival Little Italy's best on the weekends. Limited Covid hours, but worth the stop. Outdoor dining, lots with shade overlooking the river and a well manicured lawn with wildlife and birds abounding. This upscale, but laid back haven is a diamond in the rustic mountains. Mask wearing is pretty good by staff, but watch out for the guests. During the quiet weekdays here it seems sage enough, but on the weekends the patrons mostly do as they please.
