Very peaceful place, at least most of the time! Family friendly, ready for yours!

Went for a beautiful hike around West Kirk Park today. Took the less popular trail and saw almost nobody, except a field of friendly cows across the fence. It was full of birds; ducks, geese, egrets, hawks, Stellers Jays, and more. Evidence of all types of small, critters all over. Folks fishing in the river and ponds. Lovely day, recommended for a close in place for a pleasant walk.

Easy launch for personal watercraft. Water is very muddy/silty. There are picnic benches. Can't say that I will return.

Great little park! Nice lakes, a creek, nice trails. Very family oriented

Good parking and access to all of kirk park and the fern ridge dam. Lots of picnic tables. No garbage service. 2 or 3 vault toilets.
