June mountain is absolutely amazing! It really has much better view than Mammoth albeit slower lifts and fewer trails. Very few people and very easy parking. The Chalet restaurant had a gorgeous view of the lakes and the whole valley.

They are not kidding when they call this California's family resort. Our family of six never ran the slopes from green to black and enjoyed every inch of the park we were comfortable skiing. The double blacks were a bit beyond our comfort but they did look fun. Great ski instructors for the newbies and challenging slopes for the intermediates...we left tired and sore after two days at what may now be our favorite resort in a days drive of Socal when balancing affordability and fun.

My family and I absolutely love this mountain. Staff is always awesome, free easy parking, no crowds, and kind people everywhere. Also JL is a great little town to stay in. As for skiing/boarding, there’s something for everyone at June. Great place to learn or take the little ones (and kids ski free!). For more experienced there are def challenging runs and lightning fast groomers. Great tree runs and did I mention, never crowded! Mammoth is legendary, but it’s so dang crowded, I don’t think twice when driving past MM and over to June. Cheers

Tiny little gem of a mountain with some great trees and chutes. Doesn’t warm up quite as much as I’d like for spring snow, but definitely coming back here during the winter for some pow days!
