We had an amazing time on this trip. The staff was so friendly, the views were phenomenal, and the food/drinks were very reasonable prices. We saw eagles, whales, a bear, seals, and a spectacular glacier that was very active on the day we went! The trip was a full day and did not feel rushed at all. Got a lot out of it for a great price. This is a must do if you are in Juneau!!

Took a full day trip down Tracy Arm with Steve and his deckhand. Logistics - meet up at 8AM, get back at around 5:30. It's a full day. Steve has been doing this for over 20 years and it showed. Expertly pointed out eagles, bears, whales, seals, waterfalls, you name it. Navigated with care around the ice as we approached the glacier, which was calving when we got there. Food was inexpensive onboard (5 sandwiches, 1 coffee) and they were cool with brining our own food and drinks aboard. Steve also was great about taking time to really see things...we hung out at the glacier for about 30 minutes and it didn't feel rushed at all. Highly recommended!

Despite the shortage of travelers resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, they organized one of their Tracy Arm fjord boat tours for a half-sized contingent of passengers on July 6. For the price (170 per adult) it was a really good deal: we saw a number of whales (albeit mostly at a distance), black bears on various shores, seals lounging on ice floes, many wonderful waterfalls, and of course the Sawyer glaciers. Both glaciers even calved a little while we were nearby, so we got some good photo shots out of it.

Went to see the South Sawyer Glacier. The staff were very professional. Fantastic views of the countryside. It was great seeing icebergs. This is a must do adventure.

Great experience! Watched black/brown bears, bald eagles, sea lions and a glimpse of whale on our way to Tracy arm. Its a 3 hour one way ride and light food/drinks available on the boat. Highly recommend this tour if you like ice calving and huge glacier walls.

The captain and crew were wonderful and informative. The scenery was amazing. Saw seals, harbor porpoise, bears, and puffins. The glacier ice was as aqua marine blue.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The Tracy Arm tour took all day (8am to 5pm) and was one of my favorite experiences of Alaska. The captain got us up close to icebergs, seals, and the Tracy Arm glacier.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Wildlife (we saw mountain goats, humpback whales, a bear, eagles, and harbor seals). A Fjord. The glacier. Checked off everything we wanted to see and some things we didn’t expect. Well worth taking the time to go on this trip. We were the only boat out by the glacier. When the captain turned the engine off the terns and the ice clinking into itself in the sea were the only sounds. Don’t forget to wear sunscreen!
