I called in the 800# from my hotel the day of the trip & was able to give my card and had my reservation made for 3 in less than 5 or so minutes. Great service!

Took the "fast ferry" from Sitka to Juneau. Nice ride. Food on board was not gourmet but it was good and should satisfy any appetite. Food was reasonably priced. Make sure you take the fast-ferry. The slow ferry takes three times as long.

We are stuck in Juneau due to the strike. No one Union or State seems to be worried about the rv tourists. Of course they have all kid of disclaimers about not covering any expenses for getting out of Juneau by other Very Expensive bardges and airlines tickets. Dont go to Juneau with an Rv unless you have time to wIt or have bought trip interruption insurance.

The actual ferry experience was wonderful! I'm from the continental states so it was an adventure for me. We saw whales, seals and all kinds of beautiful passageways on our trip. We did have a few problems with changing ferry schedules and broken ferries.

I rode the ferry multiple times from Juneau to Skagway and enjoyed each one. The workers we talked to seemed to enjoy us being there, and they were always quick to point out whales and other cool things to see

very difficult to find your way around. There doesn't seem to be a schedule and prices listed anywhere. I'm just trying to put together estimated costs--- and it proving to be impossible! Rating 0-1

Took the ferry from Skagway to Prince Rupert, with a 2-berth cabin (beds and pillows were comfortable but we had trouble consistently getting hot water for the shower and the cabin was too cold the first night). All in all, an enjoyable ride, thanks to friendly crew and interesting conversations with fellow passengers. The cafeteria menu leaned heavily towards fried frozen foods (ie: fish and chips, or chicken strips with fries) -- but fortunately the kitchen crew prepared 2 special entrées for lunch and dinner each day for a reasonable price. The same five movies were shown each day in the lounge, but spent my time reading, playing cards, and sitting outside when sunny.
