The best facility for youth fitness and improvement in town in our opinion! The staff shows that they genuinely care about your child as a whole person on a daily basis. They communicate well and often with parents and students. They are clear with their expectations and paths to advancement. It is also immaculately clean! We love JKA!
This is an awesome place for a family environment, full of great moral and life values. Perfect for helping both kids and young adults to learn self-discipline, self confidence and how to handle life in general. Awesome workouts and learning self defense. Would give this 10 stars if I could.
My little sister and I started training Karate back in 2015 at this dojo, but had to put our training to a pause due to our academic lives (I went out of State for College). Both of us have resumed our training, and we are happy to be a part of an amazing community. The instructors are very helpful to students, and the students are very supportive to each other. Definitely the place where you can improve not just physically, but mentally as well.
Juneau Karate Academy hits all of the right buttons. They have knowledgeable caring instructors, friendly engaged students, and they teach skills that will benefit you in all walks of life. If you're on the fence then give them a call, it may just help you to become a better person.
I have just in Rolled my son into the Karate class. He has an IEP and ADHD. He has had Many problems in school because of this, But ever sense we enrolled him in Karate he has shown an improvement both in his ability to pay attention in class, and his ability to control his emotional and physical self better. It has only been 3 weeks, so this is Jaw dropping for me. Thank you to all of his Sen-pi's and His Sen-Se's.
My daughter and my husband both go to JKA. The instructors are patient and kind, yet still motivate you to do your best. They emphasize good manners and respect which is great to see in my kiddo. They have nice clean facilities and multiple days of classes, which is nice as a working parent. Happy to be part of the JKA family.
This is a wonderful program for kids as well as adults. JKA is very family oriented and we are very honored to be a part of it.
