First of all, Juneau Tours went above & beyond in accommodating us on this tour! Our ship excursion was cancelled that morning & Juneau Tours managed to work us in very last minute. The office faculty so so very friendly & nice. Then we boarded the boat...! Boat was very clean & comfortable. Captain Kara, Danielle & Dave also so very friendly & fun! You could tell they had respect & passion for the whales. We felt as if we knew & understood the whales personally as Danielle shared her whale facts with us. Then of course, "Flame" the whale we saw that day, put on a spectacular show for us all! What an experience this was! This tour was truly one of our best! Made our whole trip! I WILL definitely use this agency again when visiting Juneau!

Amazing tour! My husband and I were on an Alaskan cruise we had no excursions planned until we stopped in Skagway and walked into the Juneau Tours office. They were very knowledgeable about whales and guaranteed that we would see a one. So we booked a tour for our stop in Juneau and were not disappointed at all. Our tour guides were Captain Brenden and Jacob. They were awesome guides. We learned so much from them about whales and life in Alaska. They took us to our first stop and were very surprised that we saw a humpback whale almost instantly. It was very exciting to see our first humpback whale and we thought that was the highlight of our tour but no there was more. Captain Brenden and Jacob took us to several different stops and every time we saw whales lots of whales. But our last stop was the most amazing, we saw two Orca Whales. They came straight towards our boat, under it, and beside it. It was unbelievable. The highlight of our trip! One thing that made it so great was the knowledge and excitement of Captain Brenden and Jacob. Thanks for a memorable time. We will be back and recommend Juneau Tours to all that visit Alaska.

From the Mt Roberts Tramway, boarded a bus to Auke Bay. The Whale watching portion of the trip was top notch, due to the great staff...Capt Jordon, natralists Krichelle and Dustin. All were very knowledgeable in their field. Was able to see multiple pods of Orca, with an individual Orca coming right up beside our port side of the boat!! Also saw several Humpbacks during the excursion. The boat itself was new and offered great lower and upper deck views of the ocean (Boat was named TUTSHI). Four 350 HP ourboards were able to offer rapid acceleration to, from and within the observation area. After whale watching, boarded a bus which took us to Mendenhall Glacier, a short 15 minute ride away. This portion of the trip is self-guided exploration of the hiking trails, visitor center, the falls and glacier viewing in the distance. A bus ride back to Mt Roberts Tramway completed the trip. Highly recommend this trip!!

Excellent tour - I highly recommend this operator! The boat had a warm, comfortable cabin that offered very good viewing access. You could also view from outside the cabin and go up top where there were multiple areas from which to observe all the gorgeous scenery and of course whales!! We saw several whales and most of the sitings were close to our boat. Kudos to Capt. Dan for maneuvering close enough but not so close as to stress the whales. Our naturalists for the tour were Danielle and Sam - both were very enthusiastic, energetic and knowledgeable. They were constantly checking with all of the guests to answer questions and help spot all of the wildlife! They were fabulous. It was a very rainy day but they made it fun and completely worth the trip! The whole experience was well coordinated and required little effort on our part. Thank you!
