I was looking for someone to buy my wreaked car and I came across Karl from JunkYard Dog Fort Lauderdale and I must admit he is by far the best in the business when it comes to buying old cars.Karl was on time, very professional and honest . I want to thank God that I found Junkyard Dog. I had been dealing with junk car buyers and charity car donation companies for a month and the sleaze that i encountered was thick, oozing and nauseating. I finally found a charity that would pick up the car but the tow company wanted me to leave the key and title on the front seat with the car unlocked. I had no option except to accept their puck up date in three days. I got a call from my neighbor the association was going to tow the car if not removed by 5 pm that evening. I was desperate. I tried to contact the charity. They were helpful but could not arrange for the tow company to pick up the car by 5pm. I did not want to pay the tow charge and storage fee from the association. I prayed desperately. Next time i goggled junk car buyers the first listing was Junkyard Dog. The listing had not come up before. I called. The call did not gi through. I tried again. Still did not go through. Exasperated i looked through to the next listing. Then a call came through. I don't like answering numbers i don't recognize but this call I did. It was Junkyard Dog Ft Lauderdale. He apologized for the hang ups. It happens. We press the wrong area and the call is lost. He was very professional. Gave me a price and a time he could be at the condo. He would call me when he finished his prior two appointments and on his way to the condo. His timing was admirable. Within ten minutes of his estimation. I was a few minutes late due to an accident causing me to take a detour but he was understanding and polite. Junkyard Dog Ft Lauderdale gave me the price he quoted, signed the title and gave me a receipt. Very professional, personable and prompt. Great experience! Karl is the best! I forgot my insurance device inside the car and thought that it’s gone. But Karl found it and brought back to me! (Thank you!!!) Highly recommend this place! Excellent service!
Carl and his staff were great. They are upfront and honest. They were on time and I know if anyone wanted to do the same with any of there vehicles would be to contact them. Greatful that I did my research and found them. Completely satisfied. So again thank you Carl.
