The front desk staff will have you running circles, rude and unhelpful. They do not want contractors in the building department, They prefer everything happen over the computer. If your not computer literate they don't want your business.

In my experience, Dealing with Building Departments is usually quite a difficult process. I will have to say that out of all of the jurisdictions that i have dealt with, Town of Jupiter has to be by far the best. I did not know how to go about submitting for permits for a project and i called in several times for different reasons and within an hour, Debbie was able to walk me through their entire online portal so that i did not have to go in person. She made sure that i had submitted everything properly before she hung up with me. She was friendly and extremely professional. I look forward to doing more projects in Jupiter!

In many years of building in Jupiter, I've always found the staff to be helpful and pleasant. The online permit system is the best of any municipality in the area. A very special team in a very special town. .

Most of the time, the customer service reps are really great - super helpful and friendly. And they deserve 5 stars. But one bad apple can ruin an entire day (or review)..Suzan was probably the worst customer service rep I have ever been in contact with - so rude and condescending. Granted she could have been having a bad day, but after talking with some of our subs/GCs - they too have said they have received the same service out of her. Hopefully her superiors will remind her that she is in the customer service realm and should remain friendly through out phone calls (and not send customers through unnecessary loop holes.) She is representing the town of Jupiter and should do so in a professional manner.
