I started seeing Dr.Van Gilder at the recommendation of a friend and after seeing her for a while it’s not hard to see why people like her so much. Every time I have been in she has taken time to explain the pros and cons of my options. Her bedside manner is excellent. I only wish I had know about her earlier. I am having surgery with another doc in her practice next week and I feel good knowing she will be there too.

She saw me within two days when I had an acute issue, even though i had never been to her before. I was extremely stressed about the visit. I needn't have been. She was lovely, smart, personable and so very understanding. I felt I was in such competent hands. My husband accompanied me for the exam and commented that if he was a woman he'd want her to be his doctor! The office staff was stellar too, and Dr. VanGilder's nurse, Natalie. 100% positive experience. I highly recommend her. UPDATE: Back for another visit and have to say I love her even more. :) Her nurse Natalie is also top notch. One of the reviewers mentioned it's like visiting a good friend. I feel the same way. This is rare in a doctor. Pure gold!

WOW, I wish that I could give 10 stars because she is worth it! What a wonderful human being let alone a Gynecologist. Spent LOTS of time with me as I have not been to a Gynecologist for 10 years. She has renewed my faith in all doctors. She actually sat down and looked me in my eyes (not her watch) and listened to me. Took care of some things for me that took a lot of time and effort. I appreciate her so much and will continue to see her and recommend her to all my friends. Thank you KV so much for who you are and what you do.
