I drive out of my weay to get the owner kathi to cut my hair. She's fantastic.

Hi Kathi, As I had mentioned before, I loved the way you cut my hair twice, however my daughter's first experience turned out to be a totally different story. Although I took some time to reflect since yesterday, I still don't think it was fair to charge 80 dollars for bleaching my 12 years old daughter's just 2 strands of hair at the front. You said the bleaching material was expensive but by looking at the prices in the market, I would not agree with that comment. On top, she was extremely upset that there was a strange line where the bleached baby hair met the unbleached baby hair. And she was right to be upset. I guess you were not supposed to bleach the baby hair and her front head, but just the normal hair. I had to go to Target to buy dye to recolor her bleached hair to get rid of that line as it looked really strange. So all the money was wasted for nothing and on top she was not happy at all. I am also trying to think positively saying that we contributed to your budget for taking care of baby squirrels who lost their moms, but still I can't help feeling bad about the experience. I would come again to have haircuts in the future if you would accept me after this review. I hope you would. On a separate note to the readers, I saw those haircut pictures posted by some teenage girls on Yelp about Kathi and I am 99% sure they are fake reviews. There is no way Kathi would do such a horrible haircut. She is great at cutting.
We've been here a few times and it's ALWAYS a great experience.
Quick haircut and I got fit in right away. Service was great but the cut was just okay at best. I asked for a taper and I didn’t get one. I wasn’t lined up well (around my ear was accidentally trimmed up the side of my head a bit), and the side of my head wasn’t lined up. I might give them another shot and be much more specific about my expectations. I have an easy cut, 10-15 minutes tops, and I’m used to paying 20 with a tip and my expectations are met. I paid 32 with a tip and was very unimpressed paying more for less. I will update this post with hopefully a more positive review if I have a better cut next time, if there is one. I won’t specify the person who cut my hair, she was very nice and she fit me in between appointments which is why I’m posting a 3 star. I hope to update this to a 5 star next time.
Both men and women can have a difficult time finding a hair place. I had that difficulty. Well, here's the place, Just a Trim. I have been going to Kathy at Just a Trim for several years. She is great with color or a quick trim! Moderately priced and super nice people. Give Just a Trim just a try and you'll be tapping the fifth star just like me! Happy Camper
