This review is long overdue -- K9 Ranch was the only place I ever felt comfortable leaving my big bulldog, Lola. She had some behavioural issues that made it difficult to find suitable boarding, but K9 Ranch embraced every part of her. From day 1 they treated her like family, and made sure she received the special attention she required. They even helped me set up some training sessions and were truly invested in her progress and well-being. Unfortunately, we lost Lola to brain cancer a few months ago and when I reflect on her life, I can't help but think how lucky we were to have K9 Ranch on our side. Thank you, thank you Candice Team.

North – Our Aussiedoodle puppy, first started going to K9 Ranch in December 2020 (he was 8 months old at the time). Due to the covid situation and myself being pregnant, we couldn’t have him socialize with other people and dogs much. K9 Ranch gave us the perfect oasis for our little guy. From the very beginning they took us on a tour of the ranch so we were familiar with the grounds and what North would be doing. His daycare visits – we would get text and picture updates and he was having a blast! Playing with his new dog friends in the many outdoor spaces – he loves to run and play! As my due date approached, I was worried about first time boarding – my worries were quickly put to ease, North LOVES the ranch, the staff, and his dog friends. They truly put the time, effort, care, and love into making North feel welcome, safe, and taken care of, which gave us such peace of mind. As an added extra bonus – we inquired about possible training to help make his basic training more concrete and work on his problem behaviours such as recall, attention barking, door/leash/public places reactivity. Cue Natalie! From the very first phone call to inquire – she was so genuinely interested in helping North and our family. Natalie has been a lifesaver; North completed a board and train with her and the ranch. She kept us updated with messages, calls, pictures, and videos. When he came home – he was a completely different dog! She really worked on changing his mindset to be calmer and more relaxed. She is the most hands on and dedicated trainer! She will be completely honest and upfront about progress and goals. It’s never a one type of training fits all – she customizes the training so it’s what works best for each individual dog. She goes above and beyond to also instruct/train us so we can continue to practice his skills. We can’t praise her enough! Thank you K9 Ranch, Natalie and Staff -- North is looking forward to years of fun & play :)
Brought our four month old German Shepherd Nala here for a 3 night stay and we couldn't be more impressed with the service! It was our first time away from Nala since we adopted her at 9 weeks old so naturally we were worried about her being separated from us, but she came back noticeably more confident (and very, very tired!) and not at all rusty with her behaviour training. Julie, Ron and the K9 Ranch team kept us updated regularly through her stay, followed care instructions to a T and were very responsive. The property itself is like a 5-star resort for dogs. We couldn't be happier with our experience, thanks so much guys! Hope to see you all again soon!
You will never find anything like K9 Ranch - from the owners, Ronn and Julie, to the handlers, to the property. If I could give them infinite amount of stars, I would. You will not find anything else like them. I have taken three very different personality types of dogs here (from very pushy to terrifyingly anxious) and they have been not only accommodating to each of them, but go above and beyond in all areas of dog care as well as ensuring each dog has the best time ever, every visit. My dogs care, safety, and happiness are always prioritized at K9 Ranch. They are open and honest and so nice and so kind and so fun! They are closely tuned in to each dog as an individual and ensure they provide the care and have the fun that is suited to each of their individual needs. Everyone there are true dog people. Dog groups are kept small and they constantly rotate spaces so that dogs do not get bored. The property is like nothing else I have yet to find, it is incredible! Multiple fully fenced fields for endless fun and plenty of indoor spaces for breaks and naps if they want. My dogs have never had so much fun. Take your dog here.
I love K9 ranch and what they offer my two dogs. My two shepherd mixes LOVE going there weekly, to the point where they are itching to get out of the car when we arrive. That makes this dog momma happier than ever! On top of that, Natalie (trainer) there is phenomenal, you can tell she loves dogs and wants to be there to help you navigate training with ease. The staff at K9 ranch truly love what they do and you can tell by the way dogs take to the place and the staff.
