I can’t get over how amazing this entire experience is! I have driven past Kabooki at least a thousand times and never thought to go in and see what it was all about until it was recommended to me the other day. Man am I happy I took the recommendation on this one! The establishment itself was absolutely gorgeous and I loved the vibe along with the awesome selection of music. James was our server and he was beyond amazing in every single way possible. From prompt and friendly service to absolutely amazing recommendations to his insane knowledge of the menu in full! The dishes we had were innovative and delicious to every part of my pallet. To top it all off, a friendly manager, Angelica even stopped by at the end to check in on our experience! As a long time member of hospitality, I find difficulty at times in trying to find the total dining experience in Orlando. Often times around Orlando, it can seem that the high volume gets the best of bartenders and servers and their manners along with their good service goes right out the window. We will definitely be frequenting your colonial location. Not only for the amazing food but more so for the fire service and atmosphere. Thanks Kabooki!

I saved up my coins and cashed it in for an Omakase Experience at Kabooki to end 2020 on a high note. I was in nirvana and reached foodie enlightenment. Their food is art and culture at its most refined and I am so grateful for the experience! This was my first time here and was blown away. It's definitely a happening place and you would not necessarily know it from driving by on Colonial Avenue. Magical things are happening in this restaurant. I loved how congenial and chill yet respectful the staff was. It wasn't pretentious or snobby and was down to Earth and friendly. Also, shoutout to Juan for being super attentive and never letting my glass go empty. James Beard Nominated Chef Henry Moso is a boss at his craft. There were so many emotions starting with anxiousness from the mystery and unknown to exhilaration, elation, and complete satisfaction. My heart was racing the whole time wondering what was next and every time I was impressed. Huge kudos!! Overall, this was a first for me and will save up more coins for another experience! Thanks to Chef Moso and the team! The only thing I wished was that they had more than just one restroom. Haha, after some sake and needing to use the restroom sucks having to wait when it's busy and there's a line. Nonetheless, other than that everything else was superb!

Love this place! Been here several times for girls' night with my sister who lives close by. They have a smaller seating area and right now are only offering take out and delivery for pandemic concerns. Their inside seating is intimate and has a cozy feeling. Although the seats are closer together you have high back booths so it feels more intimate. The sushi is made to order and delicious! It can take some time for food to come out if they are busy, but it's well worth the wait. They also have happy hour specials you should try when things open back up for normal dining (or limited capacity dining). Staff is very friendly. Side note: they have a really cool mural on the side of their building so be sure to check it out when you park!! Overall: A Love the sushi, the vibe, the staff, and the COOL art both inside and out!

We did take out. Tempura was perfect, but we know tempura might get soggy the longer you wait so we ate in in the car and brought the sushi home. Tempura pepper and sweet potato were great, and the shrimp was divine. Both sauces were amazing, too. Maguro tuna was amazing. Soft and full of flavor. We also had the Zen roll and the Double Tekka (I think) and both were a great balance. I loved the small greens added to the top of each roll. Really delicious sushi. We look forward to being able to eat inside once we feel safer beyond the pandemic, but you can still get their delicious food at home. Highly recommended.
