My sister who stay in Hachinohe brought us to visit Kabushima Shrine situated at Tanesashi Coast in April 2016. It is an Island inhabited by thousand of black tailed sea gulls. It was an interesting and unforgettable experience to see so much black tailed sea gulls. Unfortunately, we cannot see the Shrine temple as it was burnt down in 2015 and it was being rebuilt. Will visit again when the Temple Shrine is ready...

I visited the beautiful Kabushima shrine on an island, inhabited by black tailed seagulls on 11 August 2020 during my summer vacations with my Japanese friend. I loved the beauty and surroundings so much that I visited again by using train from hon-Hachinohe at 11:55 am to same station and then 15-20 min walk upto Kabushima shrine. I highly recommended to visit this beautiful shrine to anyone whoever visits Hachinohe or Aomori prefecture.
