The place is hot,but however it's ideal for business due to its heavy population for it is a home for refugees from Sudan, Somalia, Dec Congo,Burundi, Ethiopia and even Uganda. It has quick air transport for those who can afford. Road transport is also being repaired to suit modern state.Though not extensive town,it is very busy. It is also an Administration centre in Turkana.The majority tribe is Tirana for it is their homeland.
