I have not had my baby yet but every time I go in my am treated less then a person. My biggest concern is I asked for a black nurse. As we know Michigan is high in black maternal mortality rates. Bronson dose not have one black nurse or doctor on staff. I am very frightened to deliver my baby there but it’s what I have to do. The one good thing I can say is I have one doctor I trust and my induction is set for the day she work because she is the only one I’ll allow to deliver my baby.

We took my daughter to labor and delivery triage last night. It was her worst experience ever. She went in for preterm labor, and the nurse couldnt get an iv started. She poked her 3 times, and my daughter passed out, and the staff didnt seem concerned at all. After many hours of waiting, and being told she would have to have a csection 5 weeks early, due to high blood pressure, the doctor noticed the nurse had the wrong sized blood pressure cuff on her forearm. After their mistake was fixed, her blood pressure registered as normal. I wouldnt recommend bronson labor and delivery to anyone.

The nursing team is absolutely phenomenal... special shout out to Becky and Shannon, you both rock! Thanks to Dr. Taubel and the OR team...great job, my baby boy was born perfect and safe. Overall it was a great experience. My only concern is the social worker is flat and lacks compassion. The cafeteria food is definitely not the Ritz, but is designed to accommodate the entire hospital. I would suggest the chicken noodle soup which is very flavorful and the carrot cake was absolutely delicious. The parking needs improvement. It took us 20 minutes to find a spot. There isn't even enough spots for the employees. Otherwise I definitely would have given five stars. The nurses deserve more...thank you nurses! You are special kinds of people.

I had such an amazing experience delivering my baby at Bronson birth place. The staff were nice, caring and considerate. They made me feel so comfortable. I could not imagine delivering a baby any where else! I appreciate them so much for their great customer service! All of the nurses rock all of the staff were great..thank you Branson for the great experience :-)

My wife had a C section to deliver twins. The surgery was a success and the staff is knowledgable. What is dissapointing is how requests to have the babies put into the "nursery" at night so my wife could try and get more than 1-2 hours of sleep a night were avoided or ignored. I don't know if they don't have a nursery but they should. Especially after hearing stories from friends about other hospitals that proactively take the babies for the night to allow the parents to recharge before heading home to meet the storm.
