Doctor Stefanyk is very judgemental and biased against anything other than his knowledge base. He bashes all other practitioners, and will rant in front of you about how they are scammers and uneducated. He also lies about referring patients to other doctors or specialists, and won’t refer you even if he tells you he will and if you need a referral. He has misdiagnosed 3 close family and friends who ended up having end stage colon cancer and a heart attack, when he just dismissed their complaints and sent them home. He is arrogant and shouldn’t have a license. Stay far away if you treasure your health!

Most amazing physician. Has been my GP for almost 15 years and now my husband and children see him as well. Caring, understanding, realistic and approachable with his care. He has a very collaborative approach with his patients which I truly appreciate, as you feel like you have a choice with decisions relating to your health. Appointment times are usually late and you're in the office for about 1 - 2 hrs but he actually takes the time to address your concerns and you are never rushed out. You feel heard and he takes your concerns seriously. If you are lucky enough to get on his case load, you've won the GP lotto. Very thankful to have him and don't look forward to the day he thinks about retiring...
A Dr who really cares, Harold Stefanyk is open to all measures of medical care, he is direct and caring at the same time, which I personally appreciate, he will tell you what you need to hear not what you gnat to hear, and he will go above and beyond to research. His knowledge is in-depth, he's no parrot fashion read Dr. He gets real life, unlike many Dr's. I can't say enough about him. Excellent Dr, Authentic person!

Dr. S runs behind a lot but that is ok, I just plan for it. I think it is because he actually takes the time to get to know his patients and their concerns. He is not a pill pusher. He tries to find the problem and not just treat the symptoms. Turned out, there was something really wrong with me. Now I have a team of specialists but I make them send all reports and recommendations to Dr. S, who I trust, so that we can make a decision together!!
Great doctor, but unfortunately very hard to get an appointment to see him when you need to.
