I just had 2 visits in 2 weeks that included a checkup, x-rays, cleaning and a filling. I really dislike dental procedures but can happily say that I had a very good experience. The examination was thorough and well explained. The diagnosis and plan to replace my lost filling seemed clear and adequate. The cleaning seemed well done with minimal discomfort. As far as the actual dental work goes I have nothing but good things to say so far. The only hitch I had was a bit of frustration around the billing side. One of my family members had been in a couple of months prior and we were told our insurance had covered everything. When I went to pay my work they told me we had an overdue amount owing. After figuring out the issue it seems the insurance didn't cover everything and instead of notifying us politely of the situation, the front desk staff continually made a point to call the payment overdue. It's a small customer service detail that could have been handled better. That aside, I'm still happy enough with the work done to drop a 4.5 star review rounded up.

Another last minute cancellation from Pure Dental. I had my appointment booked for months for January 22, at 2 pm, front counter phoned me today and cancelled me and others because they scheduled a staff meeting that day. They offered to reschedule me for March or April. Three strikes and they are out! I'm confident there are other dentists looking for patients. Clearly zero business sense!!

So yet another appointment (the 4th) cancelled by them at the last minute and the next available appointment would be February for something I was initially booked for in March. Not impressed at all and will be going elsewhere

Dental emergencies are not a real thing in this office. I walked into their reception with immense, mind-numbing pain, the kind of pain level that had me fast-tracked in the ER. I was told by the receptionist that the earliest they could squeeze me in was in eight days. Now I suppose, if they were just not equipped to handle real dentistry, then ok, she could have said that and I would have moved on to the next one. Long story short, definitely not bringing my family of nine to a dentist that can't deal with emergencies.

Dr. Palasty was so kind to my young daughter when she had to get her first fillings. His bedside manner was magical when working with her. This was years ago now but I was reminded of him today and wanted to share my thoughts on his excellent work. Kids can be quite afraid of the sharp things but he made it effortless. Thanks again Dr. Palasty!
