The hosts are amazing people. Very friendly and easy to get along with. The lake is beautiful, with pretty clear water. Really enjoyed the fishing. Bit of a drive up but well worth it. 100% will be going up again soon.

A beautiful place to stay. Caretaker sandy was super nice and accomodating but hard to find at times. Also, the website should really state 4x4 recommended. We took our car up and we were lucky to get through with no issues but other people please be aware there are several service roads you should use 4x4 and not take a little car. The entrance way into the lodge isextremely sketchy and full of rocks and goes downhill. They should really get that road fixed at least.

Would love to go here but the communication is next to nil. They were supposed to get back to me right away about a specific cabin, didn't hear anything after, 2 phone calls and another email, they got back to me and no cabins left, inquired about the campsites last week and still no response....

My husband has been coming this place to go fishing since he was a kid. I finally got the opportunity to come, so last weekend we stayed for 2 nights in a cabin. The cabin was cute, but the door wouldn't stay closed so we had a TON of mosquitoes both nights, we stayed up the last night for a good half hour and killed at least 40 before trying to sleep. We rented a boat and went fishing the entire day we were there, the motor really needs to be replaced as it was constantly stalling and not re starting. Didn't give us much peace of mind when the lake is so big- so we stayed pretty close by for fear of getting stuck out in the middle of the lake. The fishing was unbelievable though- which really made the trip. we caught 12 fish between the two if us and had a bunch of bites in between- so we will definitely be back- just with our own boat & some bungee cords to keep the door closed.
