Got a chicken taco salad and was very disappointed, it was edible and that’s all you can expect. I have tried taco salads at other chains such as Mucho Burrito, Quesada, and chipotle and taco del mar was by far the worst. Just don’t bother. There really isn’t many toppings and the chicken just tasted off. The taco shell tasted greasy, maybe they fry it. I don’t think I would even go back and try anything else as this taco salad just disappointed me that much

Good location off Columbia street, close to highway 5. The main concern here is the staff. They need serious customer service training; starting from how to great a customer, how to ask/answer questions, and how to smile! Food is okay, but doesn't match the value. Dining area needs remolding and renovation. Very loud music and not a very good smell. Great potential to improve considering the location and customer traffic, till then: Not Recommended...
Good value for the price. Friendly and helpful staff. Food is hearty and filling and gluten-free if you choose.
Though the quality is reasonable, the owners must train their staff to be super frugal. Guacamole and sour cream portion is never what is on the spoon, just a smear of each. Same thing happened with the meat, the server scooped it, tossed off everything above 3/4, then left some in the scoop. This has occurred a few times and is frustrating to see owners that subscribe to the cost cutting model vs satisfied and well fed repeat customers. I will not be back
Feel good food, classic movies, classic gaming tables and pinball! Excellent place to go for beers or to have a meal.
Will not be coming back to this establishment. This location is way more expensive than other locations of Taco Del Mar. The server was not very nice and was extremely light on all toppings. At other locations you recieve twice the amount of toppings. She proceeded to charge me extra without informing me, and removed items from my child's kid meal because 'she assumed I wouldn't want it'. Food flavour is below par for other restaurants as well. The kids tortilla was overcooked and tasted burnt.
