Our 7 year old daughter has been attending Browns Martial Arts for about four months now. I can see its made a HUGE difference in her confidence already. She has already put the skills to work at school and has been able to stand up to overly aggressive behaviour director towards her and her friends. Initially I thought the lessons would simply be instructional - To my surprise the Gracie programs integrates teaching around self discipline, being a good citizen, and many other important lessons about conduct and being a great person in your community in general. Coach James is AMAZING! On more than one occasion James has taken a few extra minutes after class to talk to Ashley about really bullying that she's experienced at school. James is very patient and uses that to communicate to his students so they actually understand the lesson. I highly recommend the Browns Martial Arts for your kids! Thanks James!
On my first day of Jujitsu, James the instructor went out of his way to ensure that I was comfortable and understood the instructing. He also did all the ground exercises with me to help me better grasp them. He was also extremely helpful in the signing up process and answered every question I had. Great guy and I plan on coming back for more classes!
We love Browns Martial Arts! Our two boys started the Gracie Jujitsu program in January, and they've learned not only martial arts, but discipline and responsibility. We're seeing a noticeable improvement in their behaviour at home and at school. I highly recommend this program. The staff are amazing.
