I visited this location to do a pregnancy 1 hour glucose test and the staff were fantastic. I was given the sugar drink immediately and waited exactly 1hr to have my blood drawn (as is required). I was feeling like I might faint in the waiting room while waiting for my blood draw and the staff quickly helped me to a place where I could lay down, and continuously checked to make sure I was ok. I was extremely grateful for the wonderful care given how terrible I was feeling. All in all, by far one of the more positive blood test experiences I've had.

Awesome experience from start to finish. I booked the appointment online for 8:30 AM. I arrived the required ten minutes before the appointment and was warmly greeted at a reception/pre-screening desk. They took my requisition form as well as OHIP card, confirmed the details then politely asked me to wait and they will come to get me. They did at exactly 8:30, I briefly waited in the waiting room then had the blood work and ECG completed. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and professional and who would have thought this should be a pleasant experience! Well done Dynacare and thank you for being there for us.
What a disaster this place has turned into. It used to be very well managed and well run but now they seem to not have any control over the online booking and how to manage people. We stood outside for over an hour waiting when there was a perfectly acceptable warm hallway for us to stand in. All I was getting done was a urine sample all they had to do was show me to the urine bottles and I could have gone I stood outside for over an hour. I understand people having to wait to have their blood taken but that makes absolutely no sense for urine samples. and as 20 of us are here in a lineup outside a semi truck has parked beside us to unload it's very very fantastic... if I could take a picture I would
Made an online appointment and was told I still had to wait outside for a minimum of two hours! What's the point of making an online appointment??? All this for a urine test. Much better service at Life Labs. I won't go back to Dynacare.
The staff are super friendly and near painless needlework. That being said, this is a very busy location and wait times are out of control. Even with online check-in I spend almost 2 hours waiting for 5 minutes of blood taking. It seems like their system is overloaded with requests. Also overheard a number of patients having trouble with finding faxed paperwork. I had mine in hand and had no issues. My understanding of the Dynacare online check-in procedure is this: 1. you check-in online (great!) 2. you arrive at the location when directed (well done!) 3. you wait in an extended line with people who haven't used online check-in, those that have earlier check-in times, and those that have later check-in times (um, what?) 4. you reach the front after 45mins - 1.5hrs of waiting (depending) and if your check-in time is close (or passed) and there is space, you are let in to the actual waiting room 5. at some point your name is called and you're seen. This could be immediately or it could be another 10-30min wait. 6. if you did not check-in online and reach the front of the line you are added to their list AFTER everyone else who has used online check-in and told to wait in your car until you are texted to return (seems like \u003e1hr after already waiting in the line to reach the front) 7. So basically, do the online check-in but don't treat your listed time as when you will be seen - accommodate at least 45mins of hallway line-up beforehand and try to remember that the staff are trying their best with COVID and the system they've been given
