I was referred by my self-storage for Gifford and car for a quote on storage insurance. Of course it was Friday when I called and needed insurance on Saturday. I worked with Andree Crawford. I appreciated her going above and beyond by working the weekend and timely responses to provide a time sensitive request.

Twisted Brother Chasing

I've been with Gifford for a long time. In the beginning things were good, but as they grew the service started to slowly decline. As others have mentioned in other reviews I had problems with calls & emails being returned by Brenda. When contact was eventually made there was no apology & in fact excuses were made. I brought my concerns up with Mark (owner) and it simply fell on deaf ears as he had her call me back after when I specifically said I no longer wanted to deal with her. If the owners provide that kind of an example to their staff then what can you expect? I also felt they seemed to be on the insurance companies side more often than not instead of being in their clients corner. As such, I have switched to a new provider. Wouldn't recommend them to others, they've gotten too big to properly provide quality service.

Raising Your Spirits

I had my previous insurance with another company for years. Then their rates went up dramatically with no explanation. It was like a take it or leave it attitude. As soon as I called Karen Benell from Gifford & Associates she was like a breath of fresh air. She worked on my file and got the right company for our house insurance and we ended up paying exactly what we use to pay for more coverage. So appreciative for Karen's help. Since then we have moved other insurance products to Karen and each time she displayed a professional and caring attitude to us. Thank you Gifford & Associates for having such an amazing person representing your company.

I was not impressed on how I was treat by one of the brokers in the office, I had switched by banking info and for some reason they said they never received it and yes of course I keep everything when I call the office to speak to Brenda she was very rude and basically called me a liar and when I gave her proof she them offered me a credit of35 dollars and raised my insurance still to over 100 monthly... Not much of a bargain there..!! How do you justify charging those rates !! I just found insurance for my newer vehicle I just purchased 3 years newer and it is still 25 monthly cheaper...!! What a scam insurance brokers are..!! Utterly disappointed with this experience ....!!

I have been a long time client of Giffords but I am disappointed with the service over the years. I feel my business is being taken for granted. Phone calls go unreturned, I have renewed my home policy with another insurance company and have obtained much better coverage all the while saving over 60% over their quoted rate. Unfortunately complacency has cost you a client.
