Terrible customer service from OWNERS Leona and John! On August 29/2020 I reserved a unit for Sept 15/2020. I paid in advance for the heated 5x10 unit . On September 8, I phoned to cancel the reservation ( just as I would do for any hotel or motel accommodation) and was told the money was non refundable! I did not sign a Rental contract and at no time , was I told that my funds were not refundable should I not take the unit! There have been available units this size from August 29 to today, sept 11! Although both Leona and John claim that because the unit was reserved for me, this prevented it from being rented to anyone else ,.. they have had available units from August 29th.So this is obviously A LIE! After much argument , Leona finally said that IF someone came along to rent my ‘reserved’ unit on the 15th or at any thereafter, she would prorate and refund my money based on the date it was rented from. When I said I was not happy with that ‘compromise’ AND that I was going to report this incident to the Better Business Bureau, she said fine , I will not be refunding anything to you and hung up on me!!! Bottom line is that these THIEVES will be renting this space out and pocketing the money I paid for September 15 to October 15th. The unit is currently empty and could have been rented from September 8️ when I informed them that I would not need the unit. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS UNETHICAL COUPLE!
